Sudoku Puzzles
Do you like playing online Sudoku games? The rules of Sudoku are very simple. Complete the grid of 9x9 boxes in such a way that every row, column and 3x3 area contains the numbers 1-9. It’s as simple as that! Easy? Of course… it might be simple in theory, but actually doing it requires a lot of thought and concentration. A fun challenge if you’d like to put your mind to work or need a bit of a distraction!
Perhaps it would be nice to know where Sudoku came from. It was actually thought up by Howard Garns, an American architect, in 1979. It was originally called ‘Number Place’ but was renamed Sudoku in 1984 when it was introduced to Japan. When The Times started publishing Sudoku puzzles in 2004, it became all the rage!
When it comes to the Sudoku games found on Gamesbook, you’re obviously not limited to filling in numbers. There’s Color Sudoku where you have to complete the grid in such a way that every color can only be found once in every row, column and 4-square area. The same applies to Animal Sudoku. Here, you can choose from a number of versions, including Sudoku with cultured paw prints, with numbers or with black paw prints. And for those Gamesbook visitors who like flowers, we have Flower Sudoku, where you can choose between numbers, flowers or letters. If you like, you can even set the degree of difficulty.
Enjoy filling in all these fun Sudoku games on Gamesbook!
